Thanks to everyone that posted but I have to close this thread now…

Yes many of those blogs are out dated, PR has changed and many do not offer dofollow any more due to spam…

I know many of you are looking for free backlinks, but I got to say, there are other ways to get them…

Think outside the box for backlinks and they will come more naturally

good lists for backlinks, google juice etc.

but do you know of any lists of high(ish) pR sites that are woth commenting on because they ar interesting and fun.

as opposed to just because they are high PR, but with kind of dry content??

End of February 2009 update:
Out of 7 mentioned blogs, only 3 are still “DoFollow standing”: BloggerUniversity, Jangro and Larholm. The rest are now ordinary No-Follow blogs. This emphasizes the point I’ve made in my EC Blog that many DoFollow blogs revert backto be NoFollow because of the spam and the people abusing the rules.
Please disprove me if I’m wrong.
