Great post – definitely aligns with what I have been experiencing in my short use of the system. Nice spike of traffic on my first post, then down to nothing.

Too bad, because people often find different articles on the same domain. While they like the _one_ they found, just because others found something different, you’d suspect there would be an equal weight … but, that would make too much sense right now.

Oh well, better than getting crap results on Reddit and Digg …

Thanks again for the post! I’ll come back, and not just to look for updates on this post.

Seems to make sense. Iv been wondering how stumboeupon worked. The traffic they send is sporatic

While the send to feature did once act like an organic stumble they appeared to have changed the way the algorithm worked which seemed to discount sendto stumbles to prevent spam. For a more detailed explanation you might be interested in centralising your social world article. Good luck with your research it will be interesting to see alternate models from the one we proposed and I would be interested in seeing your methodology. Robert I can tell you my Stumble traffic has dropped off considerably, maybe because the same people Stumble it, I haven’t written an article that hasn’t been stumbled in a while ,but traffic is way down
