I have been watching and studying my traffic stats to keep an eye on what websites are sending me the most traffic. So far, I have a good amount of traffic coming from commenting on other blogs, blogcatalog.com, MyBlogLog, Digg.com and StumbleUpon. By far, I have the most traffic coming from StumbleUpon. A couple of days last week, I even had large spikes of traffic, due to top stumblers “thumbing up” my articles.
Due to the large amount of traffic coming from StumbleUpon, I have decided to do a series of posts on learning and mastering stumbleupon from top to bottom. My goal is to figure out what drives the volume of traffic, how to create that traffic myself, study the stickiness of the traffic, bounce rates, quality of traffic and all the remaining inner workings of StumbleUpon and how to capitalize on them.
