The oddest thing happened today. I have been spending some time on stumbleupon building up my stumble profile and trying to learn the ins and out of their website. I was joining groups, making friends and getting to know the users. I get a message from one of the users and it went something like this
I say: Thanks for becoming a friend.
He says: P.S. I grew up in Glendora
I say: Wow I live in glendora
He Says: yeah I lived on the corner of such and such
I say: I live on the corner of such and such
He Says: Really I used to live at this address
I Say: I live right next door!!!
He Says: Crazy…
Well there was a lot more dialogue than that but it is so crazy that I met someone online who lived right next door. Unfortunately he lived there 15 years prior to me moving i, but what a small world to randomly stumbleupon your ex-neighbor. He is currently a self employed web designer under the name Ryan McLaughlin. The work he has put up on his website looks really good and I hope he can give me a good deal on a unique design. ;-b
