I heard about blogging many years ago, and have tried it a few times without much success. I like the idea of blogging but never really understood it. My life sort of revolves around the internet. I am an internet marketer and business developer. I focus on PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for clients and myself. I also do affiliate marketing which generates a really nice side income right now.
I want to utilize blogging for several reasons. Mostly I want to attempt to generate an additional stream of income and secondly I think it might be a great way to keep tracking of my ideas and endeavors If you have read My About Me Page then you know I purchased robdogg.com several years ago with this idea in mind and 2008 is the year I am deciding to go more main stream with the internet.
In my quest to blog I will keep myself and those who read my blog about what I do online and offline and what I do to advice and personal, business and mental knowledge.
My goals for blogging will be:
- To develop original content, written by myself to better my writing skills
- To understand the foundation of blogging, how it works and how to teach others
- To develop traffic, or visitors, interested in my articles and content
- To develop a subscriber base of RSS readers
- To generate an additional stream of income of at least $100 per month
- To establish a page rank of at least a PR5
I am new to blogging and from what I have read thus far on blogging these are the things that need to be accomplished to develop a good blog. I plan to blog frequently and often on everything I have learned so that everyone can gain insight from my research.
